Peggy Bordeaux
Mrs. Peggy Jean Bordeaux, 71, of Hudson, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, May 2, 2008, at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care.
She was born February 8, 1937, in Yadkin County to the late Perry Sizemore and Mary Ada Stinson Sizemore. Mrs. Bordeaux was a member of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, where she worked as a book-keeper/secretary for the Rev. Dr. Charles Stanley before retiring and moving to Hudson, where she attended Harvest Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
She is survived by her loving husband Shelton Bordeaux of the home; son Joe Hayes and wife Denise; daughter Robin Parsons and husband Wes, all of Atlanta; two stepsons, John Lee David Bordeaux of Statesboro, Ga., and Russell Keith Bordeaux and wife Donna of Granite Falls; two step-daughters, Leesa Marcell Bordeaux and Tracie Michelle Bordeaux, both of Hampton, Va.; sister Ruth Cramwell of High Point; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mrs. Bordeaux will be Monday, May 5, 2008, at Harvest Church in Hudson at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Marion Poythress officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. The burial will be private.
