James Lowery

Mr. James Hardy Lowery, 48, of Sycamore Drive, Rhodhiss, died unexpectedly, Thursday, May 1, 2008 at his residence.

He was born November 22, 1959 in Scambia County, Ala., to Pauline Jordan Lowery of Irvington, Ala., and the late James Horace Lowery.

Mr. Lowery was a carpenter with Fox Construction.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lillie “Gaye” Keller Lowery of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Joey Ray Lowery and Amy of Rhodhiss; his daughter and son-in-law, Sara Gray and John of Rhodhiss; five grandchildren, Chase Lowery, Bailey Lowery, Zachary Bradley, Isaiaha Bradley and Noah Hyatt; six sisters and a brother; his father-in-law, Ray Keller of Granite Falls; many nieces and nephews; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

The funeral service for Mr. Lowery will be 7 p.m. today, May 3, 2008 at Mackie-High Chapel with the Rev. Wayne White officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today, May 3, 2008 at Mackie-High Funeral Home.
