2008 All-County Girls Basketball Team

€ Amber Clark, HHS Panther post player averaged 11.6 points per game as a senior in her fourth year on varsity. Also led the team in rebounding. Scored 20 or more points three times, including a 27-point effort against Bunker Hill. Was all-conference in the CVAC. Signed to play at Lenoir-Rhyne College.

€ Kelsey Dixon, WCHS Known as an accurate long-range shooter, made 39 3-pointers at a 30.3 percentage. Hit 3-pointers on five consecutive possessions against Hickory in the CVAC tournament. Averaged eight points, 5.1 rebounds per game as a junior wing in her second varsity season.

€ Matison Hall, SCHS Scored a career-high 23 points on consecutive nights against St. Stephens and Hibriten in her third and fourth varsity contests. Averaged 12 points, four assists and 4.8 rebounds per game as a freshman shooting guard. An all-conference selection in the Northwestern.

€ Allyson Minton, SCHS Averaged eight points and 7.3 rebounds per game as a junior forward. Scored season-high of 18 points twice.

€ Taylor Morrow, WCHS Junior point guard led the county in scoring with 13.4 average. Scored 20 or more four times, including 24 against St. Stephens and Patton. Led Warriors in field-goal (42.7) and free-throw (77.3) percentage, assists (3.9), steals (3.1) and was second in rebounding (5.7). Currently 14th on all-time West Caldwell scoring list with 635 points. An all-CVAC selection and three-year varsity starter.

€ Sarah Osborne, HHS A junior in her third year on varsity, led the Panthers in blocks with nearly three a game. Had an effective mid-range jump shot and developed a knack as a weak side rebounder.

€ Vontenea Williams, SCHS Averaged 7.6 points, 6.8 rebounds per game as a senior forward. Scored a season-best 14 points against rival Hibriten. Selected to Northwestern all-conference team.
