Four hurt in Dudley Shoals wreck
A wreck Sunday in Dudley Shoals injured four people.
Richard Feimster Jr., 33, of Stoney Point was driving a white Nissan sedan west on Charlie Little Road about 6:30 p.m. when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Dudley Shoals Road, said N.C. Highway Trooper T.A. Rathbone. The Nissan struck the passenger side of a red Nissan pickup traveling on Dudley Shoals Road.
Feimster and the driver of the pickup, 29-year-old Nigel Hicks of Bradley Place in Granite Falls, were taken to Frye Regional Medical Center. Two passengers with Feimster were injured: Crystal Stikeleather, 31, of Hiddenite was taken to Catawba Valley Medical Center, and Jennifer Dishmon, 25, of Stoney Point was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Information on their conditions was not available Monday.
Feimster was charged with failing to stop for a stop sign.
