Two charged after meth found in home

Two people were arrested and the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office Ice Unit seized a half-ounce of methamphetamine, Clonazepam pills and $275 in cash after a home in Lenoir was raided Friday.

After complaints of drug sales from the house, on Walt Arney Road, an undercover officer bought drugs there, which was used to get a search warrant, a press release from the sheriff's office stated. In addition to the drugs, detectives also found digital scales and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The house's residents, Brandon Dale Laney, 27, and Lindsay Cheyanne Hamby, 22, both were charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, and felony maintaining a dwelling to keep or store a controlled substance. Their bonds were set at $100,000 secured each.
