Man accused of selling meth, pills, heroin
A Lenoir man was arrested on six felony charges Friday after selling drugs to an undercover officer, police said.
Charles Gary Kelly Jr., 51, of Norwood Street had been under investigation for a week, police said. He is accused of selling 2.1 grams of methamphetamine, 15 hydrocodone pills and a small amount of black tar heroin to the officer.
Kelly was charged with two counts sale or delivery of heroin; two counts possession with intent to sell or distribute heroin; trafficking heroin or opium by sale; trafficking heroin or opium by possession; sale or delivery of methamphetamine; and possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine. Kelly also was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while impaired.
