Heritage Home Group still has not publicly addressed rumors that it will move its headquarters from St. Louis to High Point, but three newly announced executives will be based in High Point, the St. Louis Business Journal reported Friday.

The three are Roxanne Bernstein, hired as chief marketing officer; Lynda Scott, senior vice president of retail; and Tod Phelps, chief technology officer.

Bernstein formerly was vice president of marketing at Cessna Aircraft Co. in Kansas. Scott was vice president of retail at Ethan Allen. Phelps was chief information officer and partner at Mortgage Contracting Services, and also worked at Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks.

Heritage Home Group was formed in November by KPS Capital Partners after it bought most of the assets of Furniture Brands International in U.S. Bankruptcy court. The new company jettisoned many of Furniture Brands' top executives, installed as CEO Ira Glazer, who has a track record of turning around failing manufacturers, and revamped the corporate structure. The company also has closed some furniture plants in Thomasville, High Point and Mississippi and laid off some Broyhill workers in Lenoir.
