A Hudson man was arrested Thursday and accused of selling marijuana, including to high school students.

Nicholas Ryan Denius, 20, of 4045 Austin Road was arrested by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office's Ice Unit, which said in a press release that agents saw Denius selling marijuana at the parking lot of Walmart in Granite Falls. The press release said agents searched his car and found a quarter-pound of high-grade marijuana, vacuum-sealed and packaged for resale, with a street value estimated at $3,000. Agents also seized $124 in cash and his 2000 Hyundai sedan.

Denius was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and felony maintaining a vehicle to keep or store a controlled substance. His bond was set at $100,000. He is scheduled for a court hearing Jan. 21.

In March 2013, Denius was arrested after investigators said a search of his house turned up a quarter-pound of marijuana and one marijuana plant. Denius posted bond to get out of jail and was charged in May 2013 with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
