Betty Kincaid Clark, 82, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on May 10, 1932, to the late Ivey Cornelius Kincaid and Pearl Florence St. John.
Mrs. Clark was an active member of Mulvale Baptist Church and took great pride in taking care of the church and others.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Ed” Clark Sr., and all of her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Charlie E. Clark Jr. and wife Linda, Michael Brent Clark, and Karen St. John and husband Keith; grandchildren, Stacie Herman and husband Shae, Brent Clark and wife Angie, Raven Shook, Nick Clark, Jeremy Storie and wife April, Jamey Storie and wife Tara, and Darren Clark and wife Samantha; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Clark’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian Smith officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Storie, Jamey Storie, Raven Shook, John David Miller, Phillip Puett, and Jeffrey Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 prior to the service.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.

John Nicora, 71, of Lenoir passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care – Hudson. He was born in Rose Hill, Ga., to the late Robert J. Nicora and Anna Moore Nicora. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Barry Nicora.
Mr. Nicora was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. During his adult life he held several positions in the church at the local level, deacon, elder, church treasurer and Sunday school teacher. He worked for Flintkote/ Gemstar/ Domtar for 23 years as Quality Control Supervisor in both Savannah, Ga., and Canon City, Colo., and with Republic Paperboard in Hutchinson, Kan., for 11 years as Safety and Technical Director. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Lenoir. He served in both the Army and Air National Guards as a medic. He enjoyed camping, snow-skiing and working on his computer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Tyre Nicora of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Michelle Nicora Rosas and husband Gabriel Rosas of Winston-Salem; sister, Lee Nicora of Carrollton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be private.

Tony James Williams, 64, passed away on Aug. 6, 2014, at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell County on Oct. 19, 1949, to Thelma Austin Mills and the late Harry James Williams. He was married for 45 years to Paulette Walsh Williams of the residence.
Tony had a long career as a paramedic for both Caldwell and Alexander counties and served as an instructor and mentor to many throughout his career.
In addition to his wife and mother, Tony is survived by his daughters, Brandi Williams, ande Jamie Williams Robbins and husband Mark; brothers, Terry Williams and wife Beverly, Timmy Williams and wife Evelyn, and Michael Williams and wife Emily; sister, Tina Williams McQueen and husband Danny; stepmother, Goldie Williams Nelson; granddaughters, Journey Curtis and Brooke Robbins; grandson, Jessi Williams and fiancée Mercedes Hooper, parents of his great-grandson and namesake, Raiden James Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews and other children he treated as his own.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mary Christine Carson Fleming, 59, of Morganton died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2014.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 8, 1-2 p.m. at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Marion, with the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Gold Hill Cemetery, Rutherfordton.
