Faye Dalton

On July 2, 2013, Heaven’s Gates opened for a most special angel and we had to let her go. Faye Rosemary (Bender) Dalton, 85 years of age, beloved wife of Kenneth Dalton for 47 years, mother of four, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother, went home to be with our Lord. Mom worked hard all of her life and was the most unselfish and caring of people. She was a fantastic cook and had many Sundays of homemade sausage-gravy and biscuits with all the fixings with a home full of family and friends. She has been preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, son Merrill Dalton, and son-in-law James Elliott. She is survived by daughter Sharon Elliott and grandson Jim of Florida; son Marvin Dalton and wife Linda and grandchildren Jason of Florida, and Matthew, Carmen and Micah of Ohio; and daughter Anita Anderson and husband Donn and grandchildren Ashley and Jessica of North Carolina; and great-grandchildren. We take comfort in knowing that Mom is celebrating in Heaven and that one day, we will see her beautiful, smiling face with open arms to welcome us home. We miss you and love you so very much, Mom!
