Kenneth Wayne Kincaid, 74, of Barrington Drive, Lenoir, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at the residence. He was born Sept. 5, 1938, in Caldwell County to the late Clarence Davis Kincaid and Gertrude Clay Kincaid. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie K. Phelps.
Mr. Kincaid was a retired truck driver for Newton Transportation and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lenoir. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Triplett Kincaid of the home; two daughters, Ms. Sharon Kincaid of the home and Mrs. Rebecca Kincaid Setser and husband Russ of Charlotte; and brother, Roy D. Kincaid and wife Evelyn of Hudson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Lenoir conducted by the Rev. Jamie Armstrong and the Rev. Marietta T. Smith. Inurnment will be private.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Kenneth Derrick Hoyle, 27, of Lenoir passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at his residence.
Derrick was born in Wilson to Dedra and Kenneth Hoyle of Lenoir. In addition to his parents, he was survived by his brothers, David Clontz and Kenny Watts, both of Lenoir; and his sisters, Leslie Clontz of Hickory, Sherry Girley of Lenoir and Renita Hoyle of Hickory.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Dr. Braun officiating. The family will received friends Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, from 7 until 8 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Roger Dale Greene, 57, of Lenoir departed this world on the wings of a dove Aug. 14, 2013, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1955, he was the oldest son of the late Ralph Dale and Pauline Craig Greene.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Greene, a sister-in-law, Judy Price Greene, and a great nephew, Brian Dean Jr.
Despite his disabilities, he was employed by Fairfield Chair Company of Lenoir for 40 years, where he was Employee of the Year in 2008. Among his passions were old cars and trucks, motorcycles, and the American Flag.
He is survived by his sister, Victoria (Bruce) Maness, and brothers Ronnie (Lorrie), Terry, and Danny (Donna) Greene.
He was a proud uncle to 15 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Windy Hampton, and her family, John, Heather, Grace, and his cat, Fairfield.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Dr. David Roberts and Eric Greene officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, from 6 until 7:30 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
