Jeff Lyn Icenhour, 52, of Lenoir, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
Born August 8, 1960, in Essex, Md., he was the son of the late Alice Virginia Pennington Icenhour, and J.T. Icenhour of Hudson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Yvonne Icenhour.
Mr. Icenhour was a truck driver for Sunbelt Trucking and formerly with Caldwell Freight Lines. He was a blessing to everyone he met and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, J.T. Icenhour and Priscilla Hartley Icenhour of Hudson; daughters, Alicia Icenhour of Lenoir and Jennifer Icenhour Setzer of Rhodhiss; one brother, Chris Icenhour of Hudson; one sister, Kimberly Wright of Granite Falls; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Bass-Smith Granite Chapel with the Rev. Tony Hamby officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service Friday, November 23, 2012, at Bass-Smith Granite.
Pallbearers will be James Mitchum, Chris Minton, Lee Wright, Narien Penley, Scott Byrd, Charlie Phillips, Richard Cordes and Brandon Shoupe.

Zetta Mae Frye, 75, of Granite Falls is no longer suffering as she went home to be with her Lord November 20, 2012, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Born October 12, 1937, in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lola Yount Crotts.
Mrs. Frye was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Granite Falls. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Frye of the home; son, Robert Stuart Frye and wife Sharon of Granite Falls; two sisters, Pinola Holman and Barbara Frye, both of Granite Falls; three grandchildren, Robert Steven Frye, Jennifer Elaine Brittain, Caleb Quinton Frye; five great grandchildren, Ezekiel Frye, Raegan Frye, Elijah Frye, Ambly Brittain, Claire Brittain; two nieces, Sheila Burns of Lenoir and Sherry DeAnde of Granite Falls; three nephews, Ranny Frye of Sherrill’s Ford, Ronny Frye of Granite Falls, Scott Holman of Granite Falls, Godson, Jody Price of Valdese; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday November 23, 2012, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eric R. Lane officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 1–3 p.m. at the church.

Anita M. Burge, 59, of Havenwood Place, Lenoir, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at the residence.
She was born July 17, 1953, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Richard and Maria Moreno Duncan.
Mrs. Burge was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph A. Burge of the home; step-daughter, Nancy Sparks and husband Dana of Clayton, Mich.; brother, Richard Duncan of Lincoln, Neb.; and sisters, Patricia Droulliard and Denise Parrish, both of Lincoln Park, Mich..
Services will be held at a later date in Michigan.

Tommy Arney, 58, died November 20, 2012. The funeral is 3:30 p.m. Friday at Morganton-Freedom Church of God with burial at Burke Memorial Park. The visitation is one hour prior to the service. Sossoman Funeral Home & Crematory Center is assisting.
Mae. L. Teague, 86, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Gateway Rehab & Healthcare. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Flemings Chapel Cemetery at 2 p.m. Pendry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
