Letter: Sometimes I wonder

To the editor:

How much longer will God tolerate the people in the world? I have seen hate and people mistreated. Not only black people but other races as well, including white people. We turn our noses up at the less fortunate and the poor, and we think we are better because our husband or wife has a job they were voted into by the people to do for us, the people. We pretend to be saved to be in a position in our churches, and we pretend to be a school teacher, just to get close to our children. I know there are true leaders, and what I have said should not bother them. We hire people who are not qualified just to promote our own agendas while we give the loyal people pink slips when they are the ones who have kept the companies afloat. I often laugh when I see the same people get back what they deserve. I know that it is not right, but after you see it time and time again sometimes you can’t help it. I keep praying that they will treat all people with respect and honesty. Sometimes I wonder.
