Letter: An open letter to America
My dear fellow American citizens:
We only have a little over six months to get ready for the mid-term election in November 2014.
My purpose in writing this letter is "to try to do what i can” ... To encourage all my fellow American citizens to:
*Make sure you are registered to vote.
*Make sure you know the exact location to vote.
*Make sure you take time to go cast your vote.
*Make sure you learn as much as you can about all those who are asking for your vote.
*Make sure you use good judgment in your decision.
“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.” (add ... And women )
Near the close of World War Two, I was in my first-year typing class at Hudson High School, trying to learn how to use an old upright Underwood typewriter.
My typing instructor required us to type the above statement as homework for several weeks. The discipline of that assignment did two things for me:
1. It helped me become a better typist.
2. It instilled within me a strong sense of patriotism and loyal support for my country.
Folks, we are at a very critical time in America!
The only way we can save America is to elect people to the U.S. Congress who will not lie. But who will “preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution of the United States of America! (applies also to the office of president)
(share ... Print copies … give to the public)
Register …. And vote.
