Letter: Using lights and signals makes you safer
To the editor:
This letter is a refresher course for drivers who have forgotten how to use their turn signals and wipers on their cars and/or trucks.
On the left side of the steering column is a lever; push it up to turn right, down for left turns. If it is raining, the law says if your wipers are on, your headlights are to on also. Other drivers can see you better.
Don’t be the cause of an accident. Use your equipment as it should be used.
Oh, and by the way, don’t wait until you make your turn to use turn signals.
