Letter: Run the country like a business?

To the editor:

I remember when Ross Perot was running for office, many people claimed he would be a good president because he is a very good businessman. They said this country needs to be run like a business with money coming in and going out. Funny thing is, it IS being run like a business! It is very similar to Broyhill Furniture Industries! You all remember them don’t you? They were a STRONG company, but they wanted more, so they started to depend more and more on China. They started taking away things from the little people who made them what they had become. Take away perks and incentives from the little people working for them. Take away some of their rights. They just kept taking from the little guys, until they took their source of income completely away. But, the BIG people at the top made sure they were all taken care of! Kinda sounds like the U.S.! All I can say is WATCH OUT!
