The Town of Rhodhiss will have two new council members, but its mayor remains the same.

During Tuesday's municipal election, voters in the town selected Dean Isenhour and Mike Phillips to the council, filling a seat to be vacated by Clarence Burns and ousting incumbent Wayne Wilson. Isenhour received 100 votes in the election, with Phillips garnering 92 to outdistance David Hylton (54), Barbara Kirby (50) and Wilson (49).

Isenhour and Phillips will join Joe Kirby and William Spencer to round out the four-person council.

In the mayoral race, Rick Justice was elected to serve a four-year term after fulfilling an unexpired term the last two years. Justice earned 120 votes, to easily defeat challengers Rose Waldroup (46), the former town manager of Rhodhiss, and Les Davis (14).
