Due to inclement weather, all local high school games scheduled for Thursday were cancelled.

The Hibriten softball team was scheduled to take on Cherryville in the Cherryville Easter Tournament. That game will not be made up. The Panthers were 2-0 after the first two days of the tournament, earning them first place. The team will receive a plaque for the achievement.

The South Caldwell baseball team was scheduled to play in the third place game in the East Rutherford Easter Tournament. That game will now be played today at 2 p.m. in Forest City. The Spartans will take on the East Rutherford junior varsity team.

Hibriten baseball had a non-conference game scheduled against East Burke on Thursday night, which was also cancelled. There is currently no make-up date. However, the Panthers have a home game scheduled with East Burke today, weather permitting. The junior varsity game will be at 4 p.m., with the varsity game to follow.
