Caldwell County Board of Commissioners

The Caldwell County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, Oct. 5, beginning with a 30-minute public comment period at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will reconvene at 6 p.m. to take up agenda items, including:

* The introduction of new Caldwell County Manager Stan Kiser.

* A report from Broyhill Furniture President Jeff Cook.

* A public hearing to consider financing proposals for capital improvement projects at Sawmills Elementary and Hudson Elementary Schools.

* A public hearing to consider an economic development incentive for Bruex, Inc.

Lenoir City Council

The Lenoir City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6 has been cancelled.

Cajah's Mountain Town Council

The Cajah's Mountain Town Council will meet Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at Cajah's Mountain Town Hall.

Lenoir Committee of the Whole

The Lenoir Committee of the Whole will meet Friday, Oct. 9 at 8:30 a.m. in the former council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.

Granite Falls Town Council

The Granite Falls Town Council will meet Monday, Oct 5 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
