BOBBY GRINDSTAFF

Mr. Bobby Jack Grindstaff, 53, of Lenoir, died Monday, October 5, 2009 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 25, 1956 in Mitchell County, Bobby was a son of Robert Grindstaff and Shelba Huskins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Grindstaff.

Bobby had worked for Kincaid Furniture. He enjoyed watching racing, bird watching, working on his cars, playing with his grandchildren and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Grindstaff of the home; two daughters, Hilda Acord and Neisha Faulkner, both of Lenoir; one son, William Ray Faulkner of Lenoir; one brother, Joe Ray Grindstaff of Marion; and two granddaughters, Alissa Day and Macy Day, both of Lenoir. Bobby is also survived by numerous other relatives.

A memorial service for Bobby will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Thomas.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
