Faith Tabernacle Church will host the fourth anniversary of Hope of Glory Saturday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m. There will be praise singers and dancers at the service.

Fellowship Baptist Church will host a churchwide consignment sale Saturday, Oct. 24 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. A wide variety of household items and clothing will be available.

Mulberry Baptist Church will host a gospel singing Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. featuring Sweetbriar Jam.

People's Tabernacle for God, Inc. will sell plates at noon Saturday, Oct. 24 to raise money for its building fund. Plates are a donation of $6.50.

Bibleway Church No. 10 will host its Youth Explosion Sunday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. Elder Mark Flowers from Winston-Salem will be the guest speaker.

Calvary Advent Christian Church will celebrate Heritage Sunday during its worship service Oct. 24 in observance of the church's 75th anniversary. Worshippers are invited to dress in 1930s attire, and the Calvary Four will be sharing with those in attendance. An old-fashioned meal will follow the service. The church also will host its annual fall festival from 4-6 p.m. The event will feature refreshments, costume judging, pumpkin carving, a talent show and trunk or treating.

Colliers United Methodist Church will hots its fall festival Sunday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. There will be a hot dog dinner followed by games and prizes for all ages. There will be a placement of written items in an anniversary time capsule to be opened in 2034. Those attending are asked to dress in 1950s attire. A memorabilia room of artifacts from the 1950s will be on display, and a covered dish meal will follow the service.

Crossroads Community Church will host a Sunday school growth program at 10 a.m. every Sunday in October. Classes are available for people of all ages.

First Church of God is having a call to prayer at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Each Saturday when fire alarms sound around Lenoir and Caldwell County at 10 a.m., they ask citizens to stop and pray for the city, world, churches, wars and other issues of concern.

Peoples Tabernacle for God Inc. will feed members of the community from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. every Saturday.
