The Caldwell County Health Department will be offering both the seasonal flu vaccine and the H1N1 flu vaccine to the general public, beginning on Tuesday, Jan 19 and continuing on Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9.

The vaccine will be available at the Health Department, located at 1966 Morganton Blvd. SW, Lenoir, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the dates listed.

There is no cost for the H1N1 vaccine, but there is a $20 charge for the seasonal flu vaccine. The Health Department will bill Medicaid, Medicare and all private insurance, but patients must present their insurance cards at the time of service.
